The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for steadily falling temperatures with rain beginning late Friday afternoon, changing over to snow with accumulations from 1-3 inches overnight. Please click here to view the January 18, 2019 public service announcement issued by the City of Sedalia.

Drivers who routinely park on streets designated as Emergency Snow Routes will need to move their vehicles to other locations as snow is expected to accumulate during nighttime hours. City crews will be working overnight Friday to ensure Emergency Snow Routes remain open. Cars remaining parked on emergency snow routes may be towed or plowed in as crews work to keep these roadways open for emergency vehicles.

1/11/2019 - City of Sedalia - Potential for Snow Accumulation

According to the National Weather Service, Sedalia has the potential for snow accumulations of 5-8 inches beginning this afternoon, Friday, January 11, 2019 and continuing through Saturday, January 12, 2019. Should this weather system result in 2 inches or more of snow accumulation, the City will activate the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES to allow the designated roadways to be easily cleared for emergency and other vehicles.
