EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES ACTIVATED

The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for steadily falling temperatures with rain beginning late Friday afternoon, changing over to snow with accumulations from 1-3 inches overnight. Please click here to view the January 18, 2019 public service announcement issued by the City of Sedalia.

Drivers who routinely park on streets designated as Emergency Snow Routes will need to move their vehicles to other locations as snow is expected to accumulate during nighttime hours. City crews will be working overnight Friday to ensure Emergency Snow Routes remain open. Cars remaining parked on emergency snow routes may be towed or plowed in as crews work to keep these roadways open for emergency vehicles.

1/21/2019 - Holiday - City to Observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
The City of Sedalia will be closed on Monday, January 21, 2019 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  

Weekly trash pickup for the week of January 21, 2019 will follow the normal collection schedule. The Materials Management Site at 27882 Highway U will be closed on Monday, January 21, 2019.  

City offices including the Materials Management Site will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, January 22, 2019.
