| Finance Home Finance Staff Collector's Office Municipal Court City Collector's Office The City Collector's office is the public face of the Finance Department and interacts with citizens and local businesses on a daily basis. The Collector's office is responsible for collecting and accurately accounting for all monies due to and received by the City, including local sales and property tax. The City Collector's office is responsible for issuing timely and accurate statements for city services including sewer service out of the city limits, trash pickup, facility rentals and airplane tie downs.
The City Collector also issues most city licenses and permits. Fees for licenses and permits can be paid at the Collector's office, regardless of the office that actually issues the license. With the continuing economic growth and development of Sedalia, the City now issues more than 1,500 business licenses per year. City Forms
